Winter Ramblings...where is SPRING?!

This is me.  I am NOT a fan of the winter.   At all.   I love the warmth of the summer sun, cute summer clothes and not having to put a million layers on when I go outside.  I also notice my body feels a lot better in the summer.  Cold is hard on people with lupus.  The cold makes your joints more stiff and it's just really challenging.  That being said, there are some good parts to the winter!

Just this morning I felt something staring at me and I looked over to see this cute little guy on my patio...
My cat wasn't impressed.  She's usually like this all winter....
but when she saw the squirrel she jumped into action.  She protects her house ;)

Overall this winter has been full of snow.  Lots of snow.  So much snow that I have felt pretty stuck inside.  Don't get me wrong, it's gorgeous here in the winter, but I'm over it!  Check out my cousin Bette's bird blog for some gorgeous pictures of birds in the snow.  It's one of the prettiest things about winter here in Massachusetts.

How cute is this little guy with snow on his face?!
Another great thing about winter is Brent's kids hockey.  They are SO stinkin' cute.  Seriously, little 10 and 11 year olds all dressed up in hockey gear?  Adorable.  It's freezing in the rink, but give me some hot chocolate and I could watch for hours!  And I think it's so cute that Brent coaches them.  Nothing more attractive than a guy being a good dad! **quick note...this picture was taken at a game that Brent was coaching, but that his kids were not at.  I don't post pictures of his kids on this blog, as they are not my children and I don't feel it's appropriate to post photos of them.  I was also careful to make sure that none of these kid's faces were showing (I blurred the photo slightly), so that their privacy is protected.
Aside from cute squirrels, my cuddly cat and kids hockey....I wish spring would hurry up and get here!

I am daydreaming about warm weather lately!  I can't stop looking online at cute spring clothes.  Right now I'm kind of obsessed with these Tory Burch flats.  It's no secret I love Tory Burch, and her shoes are my favorite.  So comfortable and cute.
What's your favorite season? Anything special you're looking forward to for spring?
